An end of the day view of Level 3 (Lot 4). Note the discovery of significant human disturbance in the eastern half of the pit. This took the form of several pieces of paving stones (all appear to be broken) that seem to have been laid in a relatively ordered manner.

A view of the pit facing north. In Level 3 (Lot 4), evidence of significant disturbance was unearthed in the eastern half of the pit. This disturbance splits the pit almost perfectly in half and is confined by a wooden beam that is located approximately equidistant from the east and west pit walls. Asphalt inclusion remained an issue in the SE quadrant of the pit but at this depth, it was primarily loose in nature and was easily excavated. Wood remains, now in the form of loose saw dust, is present in large quantities in the NE corner of the pit, adjacent to the cement block.
