Field Notes: A view of the SE corner of the pit facing east (Level 4/Lot 6). Underneath some of the concrete pieces an intact glass jar was discovered. In addition, paper-like material and other unknown metallic objects were discovered.

Field Notes: A beginning of the day view of the pit facing north (Level 4). Unlike the end of the day view from the prior week, sun shade is not an issue. Notice the clear demarcation line of stratigraphy approximately half way between the western and eastern walls. This abrupt change in stratigraphy corresponds to the material remains found within the pit itself. Notice the remains of a wooden beam the runs the length of the pit in a N-S orientation. Along with the presence of a large amount of debris in the form of concrete pieces, cement block and miscellaneous bricks in Lot 6, it may be postulated that the eastern half of the pit was at one time an area for the dumping of debris, etc..
